I skate a lot and i was thinking about getting a video camera to record me skating and upload some videos or try to get sponsored. But the only problem is I dont know what kind of camera to get. I can't find backpacks with skateboard straps in any stores. Besides, judging by pictures, the straps just look like bands of fabric that keep the skateboard in place. Are they more than that, or can I just lash the board on using cords, or even sew my own strap on?
Thanks for the answers, everyone, but what I really want to know is how I can attach one to a /normal/ backpack. Living in Canada, I can't find any of the stores you've mentioned, and the local skate shops are hella expensive.
